The 2025 World Robot Conference will be held in Beijing from August 8 to 12. The theme of this conference is clear: make robots smarter and embodied smarter. There are three major exhibition halls on site - innovation hall, application hall and technology hall. 200+ domestic and foreign robot companies have been gathered; 50+ family robot companies compete on the same stage; exhibited more than 1,500 exhibits; More than 100 new products were launched, including core components such as dexterous hands, sensors, and micro planetary roller screws. Another highlight moment came from the live demonstration of 11 industrial-grade humanoid robots Walker S1: through precise visual recognition + online trajectory planning algorithm; with bionic arm + dexterous hand; Successfully complete dynamic random sorting tasks – such as accurately grabbing a specified object from a pile of clutter.


This kind of "human-like operation ability" was previously only possible by humans or specialized robotic arms. Now, humanoid robots are also competent, and they are more flexible and adaptable.

Humanoid robots "bargain" to enter

A group of hardcore players such as Yushu, Star Era, and Zhiping made a collective appearance, not only showing off their muscles, but also directly lifting the table: 39,900 humanoid robots? This is not science fiction, it is reality.


Unitree Technology debuted two new products, including the humanoid robot R1 and the quadruped robot A2, and jointly demonstrated Unitree's latest technological achievements with the humanoid robot G1 fighting model, quadruped robot Go2, industrial quadruped robot B2 and B2-W. The starting price is only 39,900 yuan, which directly sets a new record for the lowest price of humanoid robots in the world. What does this mean? Humanoid robots have officially entered the "100,000-level industrial entrance" from "million-level scientific research toys".


If Yushu is a "cost-effective killer", then ROBOTERA is the "representative of technology flow". The star product they brought - Star L7: height 171cm, weight 65kg; The live performance of 360-degree spinning jump, the movements were crisp and neat, attracting cheers from the audience; In the logistics simulation scenario, multiple L7s work together to demonstrate the potential of swarm intelligence.


Another "small waist essence" Xingdong Q5: small in size, but extremely dexterous; supports remote operation of full-body movements, which can accurately reproduce human movements; The live demonstration of squatting and picking up bottles is natural and smooth. The matching XHAND series dexterous hand was also unveiled at the same time, supporting high-precision grasping and force control feedback. Star Era takes the route of "full-stack self-development + software and hardware collaboration" - from ontology design, motion control, AI brain to dexterous hands, all by itself, with extremely high technical barriers.


The most eye-catching thing is the general intelligent robot "Aibao" brought by Zhiping. It is not a "specialist", but a "generalist". In the simulation factory: moving boxes, palletizing; At the drink bar: make coffee, dig ice cream, beat drum kits on the stage, and learn a song "Beijing Welcomes You" in advance to cheer up the audience!


Behind it are two core technologies, GOVLA: a full-stack self-developed end-to-end embodied large model; AlphaBrain's "super brain" allows robots to have the ability to integrate "understanding-decision-execution". This is not "programming control", but the prototype of a "general agent" in the true sense.

Chinese robots are moving from "following" to a new stage of "defining rules"

At the opening ceremony, the "Top Ten Development Trends of Embodied Intelligent Robots in 2025" and "Top Ten Potential Application Scenarios of Humanoid Robots" were also officially released. The top ten trends released this time are not empty clichés, but real technical directions.
